![]() ![]() I've been having similar problems and have already tried scouring the various articles to no avail.Ī curious difference in my case is that I can't find such a folder in Step #9 I've checked both regular Program Files as well as (86), but neither contains a subfolder "Apple" anywhere - let alone the subfolders that follow - and it doesn't appear that reinstalling iTunes has recreated it. ![]() Thanks for your continued help I sure wish my situation weren't such a pain. Wondering if at this point I need to try uninstalling the current version of iTunes and try reinstalling an older version.? I'm running 64 bit, but never has that app (nor the 32 bit one) appeared for me to be able to uninstall. Something else weird in my case I noticed was in the Uninstall portion of the instructions in DOC-6562, the last apps, the "Apple Application Support" ones. (I'm running Win10 Home 21H1, so I'm guessing the link to download from Apple doesn't apply, as it explicitly states it's for Win7 & Win8?) Is iCloud necessary will it help will it not work due to not having installed iTunes from the Windows store? I noticed when I previously tried installing iTunes via the Windows store and then ran diagnostics, I only received two as opposed to three errors, for what that's worth. Oh, regarding the iCloud Control Panel, is that just the iCloud app? It doesn't appear to have been loaded in the most recent reinstall, though when I tried clicking the link, it just takes me to a page telling me to get it from the Windows Store. Made sure on the most recent install to right-click and Run as Administrator as well, per your recommendation listed in DOC-6562. ![]() I thought that might be the case, but when I checked it just appears to be Windows Security stuff. I have a Dell Inspiron 15-3567 (which means it came with all of the lovely Dell bloatware, including McAfee - but I uninstalled it, though there appear to be files left over). ![]()
